The 90th Anniversary Dinner in 2014 was a wonderful occasion to celebrate our accomplishments as a club and to socialize with current and past members. The Groton Grange was transformed into a spring woodland. Tables were set with vintage tablecloths and decorated with flower arrangements made by club members. Each member received a small rosemary plant as a favor. Hors d’oeuvres, dinner and desserts were all made by the committee and featured everyone’s family favorites. Past members of the club were invited to attend, along with current members. New name tags were unveiled; each with the year that the member had joined the club. Display tables were set up to showcase our archives, which had been transferred to archival quality notebooks as a 90th anniversary project. Each member was asked to bring a vintage vase, and we closed the evening with a fun exchange.
