What a great way to kick off the Garden Club season! On Wednesday September 20, thirteen Garden Club members, resplendent in heavy rubber gloves, face masks and our oldest clothes mixed Portland cement, perlite, peat moss and water to create a mix which we put into forms to make hypertufa troughs for our garden plants. Peg M. generously shared her yard; Penny H brought the plant sale tables and we mixed, got dirty, a little wet and very creative. We made troughs for ourselves and many more for next year’s Plant Sale. Thanks to Linda A for arranging for the talented Debra Pope to teach us all.
