The Groton Garden Club plant sale took place on May 9, 2015 at the Groton Town Hall, and was an enormous success! Shoppers were lined up and eager to get in when the ribbon was cut at 8:30 a.m. Specialty plants sold out quickly. A huge selection of perennials, herbs, shade plants, and easy-to-grow plants, as well as specially painted pots with plants for Mother’s Day, were all available for purchase. At the end of the sale, some lucky shoppers took home half-price bargains.
Following the sale, the Garden Club donated numerous daylilies and irises to the Groton transfer station for its beautification.
Proceeds from the sale go toward all the Garden Club beautification projects in town. The club thanks all the shoppers, and also those who donated plants from their gardens. See you next year!
